Terms of Use
Vacaan is a job platform operated by Budion. By using Vacaan, you agree to these terms of use.
Last updated: July 2026About :site
Vacaan is an online job platform where job seekers can browse vacancies and be redirected to employers or external vacancy sources. The platform is operated by Budion.
Use of the website
You use Vacaan at your own risk and only for legitimate purposes. You may not:
- disrupt, hack, or misuse the website;
- automatically scrape large volumes of data without written permission;
- submit false or misleading information via forms;
- copy or reuse content in violation of intellectual property rights.
Vacancies and external links
Vacancies on Vacaan may come from employers, ATS integrations, XML feeds, or other sources. We aim to keep information current and accurate, but do not guarantee that all vacancy information is complete, correct, or available.
When you apply via an external link, that party’s terms and privacy policy apply. Vacaan is not a party to employment agreements between job seekers and employers.
Aggregated company and vacancy information
Vacaan may display company profiles and vacancies that are (partly) collected automatically from public sources, feeds, or third-party websites. This may mean a company is listed on Vacaan without having created an account itself or entered into a direct agreement with Budion.
Intellectual property rights in vacancy text, logos, company names, and other content remain with the respective rights holders. Budion does not claim ownership of third-party content, but facilitates its display and redirection within the platform.
A listing on Vacaan does not imply a recommendation, partnership, or employment relationship with the company concerned.
Removal and taking content offline
Companies may at any time request that their company profile, logo, company description, and/or vacancies (in part or in full) be taken offline from Vacaan.
Submit your request via the contact form or by email to [email protected]. Please include:
- the company name as shown on Vacaan;
- the URL of the company profile or relevant vacancies (if available);
- what you want removed (e.g. logo, profile, all vacancies, or specific vacancies);
- your contact details and, where possible, confirmation that you are authorised to act on behalf of the company.
Budion will process legitimate requests as soon as possible and within 14 business days at the latest. In urgent cases or where publication is clearly unlawful, we may act sooner. After approval of a full removal request, we take the company profile and related vacancies offline and try to prevent republication from the same source where technically possible.
Budion reserves the right to remove, correct, or take content offline where required by law, intellectual property rights, misuse, or other legitimate reasons.
Accounts and employers
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Employers are responsible for the content of vacancies they publish or have published.
Intellectual property
All rights to the website, design, the Vacaan brand, text, and software belong to Budion or its licensors, insofar as it concerns platform-owned content. Logos, vacancy text, and company information from third parties remain the property of the respective rights holders.
Liability
Vacaan is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Budion is not liable for indirect damage, missed opportunities, or damage arising from vacancy information, company profiles, or external application links.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Vacaan in the past 12 months, or €100 if you use no paid services.
Availability and changes
We may change functionality, content, or these terms at any time. For material changes, we will inform users where reasonably possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
