As a Business Controller Insights, you will work in an international environment where you contribute to Action's tremendous growth and where your analyses directly influence business decisions. From our international headquarters in Zwaagdijk-Oost, you will support various business departments with financial insights and help ensure that the business makes well informed decisions. You will enable better steering on costs, performance, and growth by combining your financial expertise with strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality.

This is your daily action

• Prepare and improve management reports and dashboards
• Perform financial analyses within Group Business Control (GBC)
• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and period-end closing cycles
• Work closely with Finance Business Partners
• Contribute to the further professionalization of processes and reporting within GBC

Meet your team

You will become part of the Group Business Control team at our international headquarters in Zwaagdijk-Oost. Together with colleagues from Real Estate, Technology, Procurement, Marketing, Commerce, Supply Chain, and HR, you will support the business through analyses and advice.

You will work in an open and pragmatic environment where collaboration, flexibility, and speed are key.

A typical day

You start your day by analyzing new data from different departments. Where are the deviations? Which trends stand out? You then discuss your findings with a colleague and explore opportunities to optimize costs and improve business plans. In the afternoon, you work in Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud, creating reports that provide management with valuable insights while continuously improving existing reporting solutions.

This is you

You are an analytical professional who thrives in a fast-growing international environment. You enjoy improving financial reporting and processes, translating numbers into meaningful insights, and challenging stakeholders to make better decisions.

In addition:

• A completed Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a business controlling, financial analyst, or similar role
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud is preferred
• Knowledge of financial administration and experience with month-end and period-end closing processes
• Affinity with Group Business Control processes and the retail sector
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken

• A market-based salary based on a 38-hour work week
• An annual bonus between 7,5 and 15% based on company and personal performance
