Procurement Analyst

This is your daily action
As our Procurement Analyst III, you report to the Team Lead for Procurement Excellence and play a key role in strengthening our procurement excellence. You will partner with senior procurement managers across Technology, Real Estate & Facilities, Supply Chain and other domains to ensure that we deliver value at scale.
You combine strong analytical capabilities with process governance and stakeholder advisory. You will lead digital procurement improvements, act as expert on Data reporting systems, and ensure our procurement processes, data, and workflows are running efficiently and consistently across the organization.
Process Management & Optimization
- Identify opportunities to enhance procurement processes, workflows, and digital tool usage across the Procurement function.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
- Benchmark industry best practices and propose enhancements for digital procurement maturity.
- Own and govern procurement documentation, standards, and knowledge management systems.
Advanced Strategic Analysis & Reporting
- Build, automate, and maintain advanced dashboards and analytical reports in Excel, Power BI, and Ariba.
- Serve as the primary expert for SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contract modules, including configuration, functionality, and best practices.
- Develop spend analyses, compliance reporting, sourcing pipeline visibility, and savings-tracking models.
- Translate data into actionable insights that support Procurement’s strategic decision-making.
- Safeguard data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
- Communicate procurement process updates, digital enhancements, and system changes across the organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to procurement managers by providing expert guidance on tool functionality and data-driven insights.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure procurement practices align with evolving business needs.
- Mentor junior analysts to grow analytical and process improvement capabilities within the team.

You will join an international procurement department of 24 specialists, each contributing expertise across Technology, Real Estate, Supply Chain, and other strategic areas. From our headquarters in Zwaagdijk-Oost, we manage procurement activities across all 12 countries where Action is active.

You are a confident, analytical, and structured professional with a natural affinity for digital tools and process optimization. You thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy engaging with diverse stakeholders. You balance data-driven decision-making with strong communication skills and can translate complex insights into clear, practical recommendations.
You are positive, proactive, curious, and eager to continuously improve how we work. You are comfortable advising stakeholders, coaching junior colleagues, and taking ownership of your area of expertise.
In addition, you have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (NEVI 2 preferred).
- 4–5 years of experience in procurement analysis, strategic sourcing, or process improvement.
- Strong proficiency with SAP Ariba (Sourcing & Contracts) and analytics tools.
- Excellent Excel skills (advanced formulas, modeling, automation); Power BI is preferred.
- Fluent English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, structured, and results-oriented working style, with continuous improvement mindset.
