Introduction

As a Business Analyst, you operate at the heart of strategic decision making, translating complex business questions into clear insights that drive impact at scale. Working from our international headquarters, you play a key role in strengthening performance, customer experience and operational efficiency across our rapidly growing retail organization.

You are part of the Business Analytics team within the Strategy & Analytics department and report to the Manager Business Analytics. Here, strategy meets analytics: you work closely with senior and executive stakeholders and analytics experts to shape strategic insight-led decisions.

This is your daily action

You act as a trusted analytical partner for senior stakeholders across the business. You structure ambiguous, high‑level questions into concrete analytical problems and guide them towards actionable recommendations. You define hypotheses, perform analyses across multiple data sources and translate this into a clear strategic narrative for senior and executive stakeholders (incl. CEO/CFO).

You lead analytics projects end‑to‑end from problem statement to insights and recommendation. You translate business needs into analytical approaches, co‑design use cases with stakeholders and ensure that analytics efforts are prioritized based on business value. Your work directly supports strategic projects, performance tracking, and ad‑hoc deep dives that influence decision making at executive level.

This is you

You combine strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset and know how to turn data into compelling stories. You enjoy working with senior stakeholders, take ownership and proactively identify opportunities where analytics can add value.

In addition:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Strategy, Analytics or a quantitative/technical field
• >5 years of relevant working experience in strategy, analytics, consulting or a similar role
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into structured analytical approaches
• Experience with performance analysis, root cause analysis and impact assessments
• Strong communication skills and experienced in engaging with senior stakeholders
• Team player with a proactive, result oriented and cost conscious mindset
• Excellent in Dutch and English
