(Full-time, 38 hours per week – Zwaagdijk-Oost)

As a Business Controller Marketing & Technology, you will work in an international environment with unique Marketing and IT projects, where your analyses have a direct impact. From our headquarters in Zwaagdijk-Oost, you will support Action’s expansion with valuable financial insights and help our Marketing and Technology teams steer performance more effectively.
Your responsibilities
- Preparing and improving management reports and dashboards
- Performing financial analyses related to IT projects and marketing campaigns
- Acting as a key link between the Finance back office and Marketing/Technology colleagues during month-end closings and throughout the budgeting and forecasting cycle
- Collaborating closely with Finance Business Partners and business stakeholders
- Contributing to the further professionalization of reporting and processes within Business Control
What your workday looks like
You start your day by analyzing new data on ongoing IT projects and advising on an investment proposal. Next, you collaborate with colleagues in Marketing to discuss the financial impact of new store openings. In the afternoon, you work with HFM, Power BI, and SAP to create reports that provide management with valuable insights. No two days are the same. Action’s rapid growth continuously creates new challenges and opportunities.

Who are you?
You are an analytical professional who thrives in a fast-growing environment and enjoys improving financial processes. You easily switch between data analysis, dashboard reporting, and stakeholder discussions, and you are passionate about delivering insights that make a real difference.
In addition, you bring:
- A completed Master's degree (WO level) in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar business controlling role
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud is an advantage
- Knowledge of financial administration and experience with month-end closing processes
- Affinity with Marketing and IT processes, and an interest in retail
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English

You will join the Group Business Control team at our international headquarters in Zwaagdijk-Oost. Together with colleagues specializing in areas such as Real Estate, Procurement, Overhead, and HR, you will support the business through analysis and strategic advice.
