We are looking for a Senior Business Controller to join our Business Control team within Vattenfall's rapidly growing E-Mobility Business Unit.

In this role, you will be a trusted finance partner to three international functions:

Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions, and translate complex data into clear business insights. As part of a dynamic international environment, you will play a key role in shaping decisions, improving performance, and supporting sustainable growth.

What will you do?

As Senior Business Controller, you will take ownership of the full controlling cycle for several international support functions and contribute to the financial performance of the business.

You will:

  • Lead and coordinate month-end closing activities, including accrual management and collaboration with Accounting.
  • Prepare reliable forecasts and translate business developments into forward-looking financial scenarios.
  • Drive the annual budgeting and business planning process in close partnership with business leaders.
  • Challenge and support budget owners to optimise resource allocation, particularly within IT and marketing investments.
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner for management teams, providing financial advice and decision support.
  • Develop, improve, and automate financial models, KPIs, reporting tools, and controlling processes.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and contribute to cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Support the further development of controlling standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the Business Unit.

You will report to the Director of Business Control E-Mobility and work closely with stakeholders across multiple countries and disciplines.
